ASSIGNMENT 1: SPECULATIVE CONSTRUCTION JOURNAL
ARCC2202: ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGY I

The chosen project for the speculative construction journal is a row of townhomes constructed by the Tartan developer group. Using the property map on the Tartan website, these townhomes appear to be a combination of the Fuji and Gala models. The site is located in the neighbourhood Findlay Creek in Ottawa. A total of 11 site visits were made from September 19 2021 to November 23 2021. The starting condition of the project was the delineation of ground level spaces. The end condition appears to be almost complete, with the roof almost completed and threshholds of the facade installed.
